As a dedicated urban planner with a strong foundation in urban and regional planning, I am passionate
about creating sustainable, resilient, and livable cities. I graduated from Mersin University, Faculty of
Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning, with honors (3rd in the department).
Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my skills in urban morphology, urban design, pedestrian
mobility, and urban heritage. I have also gained valuable experience in climate change adaptation and
mitigation through academic projects and participation in EU-funded training programs.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano, where I am delving
deeper into Peri-urbanization Process, Liveable Cities, Climate Change and Resiliency, Urban Design,
Urban Morphology, Uncertainty and Complexity in Urban Planning, Just Cities and New Challanges in
terms of Planning Theory. I am actively involved in research, exploring the challenges and opportunities
of urban expansion and seeking innovative solutions to create sustainable, equitable and just cities.
